FIND has announced that its 2010 Spirit Awards will relocate from its recent seaside berth in Santa Monica to the LA Live complex in downtown Los Angeles

The event is set to take place on March 5 in a tent on the complex’s panoramic event deck. The nominations press conference will take place on December 1.

“We wanted to do something very special and different for the 25th Anniversary by holding the only late-night awards show, where our audience can tune-in live at 11:00pm on the East Coast,” FIND’s executive director Dawn Hudson said.

“Our new venue will still have the laid-back, no-holds-barred atmosphere that only the independent film community can create.”
