UK viewers can have a dramatic Easter with the BBC Two premiere of United. The film, shot late last year, will be launched theatrically around the world but airs first in the UK on Sunday night.

The drama involves the “Busby Babes” and the 1958 Munich air disaster involving Manchester United. David Tennant stars as coach Jimmy Murphy with Jack O’Connell as Bobby Charlton and Screen Star of Tomorrow Sam Claflin as Duncan Edwards. Dougray Scott plays manager Matt Busby.

Chris Chibnall wrote and James Strong directed, with Julia Stannard producing.
