After Hitler’s Steps

Dir. TBD
Keen to move deeper into production and development and board projects at an earlier stage, FilmSharks chief Guido Rud is developing After Hitler’s Steps with Amsterdam-based European Film Company (the firm behind Kidnapping Freddy Heineken) as well as Pampa and Paris Filmes, part of the IDC-Lionsgate Group. The project is based on Hitler’s Exile, a book by Third Reich specialist Abel Basti, who produced evidence purporting to show that the Führer survived the Second World War and fled to Argentina and Paraguay, where he lived for decades. The Weasels’ Tale

Dir. Juan Jose Campanella
After several years on US TV shows such as House, Halt And Catch Fire and Colony, Juan Jose Campanella, Oscar-winning director of 2009’s The Secret In Their Eyes, is back with his first feature since the animation Underdogs in 2013. Based on the 1976 Argentinian film Yesterday’s Guys Used No Arsenic (Los Muchachos De Antes No Usaban Arsenico), The Weasels’ Tale echoes the British Ealing comedies of the 1950s. The story tells of a quartet of film legends who resist efforts to kick them out of their estate. Graciela Borges and Oscar Martinez star in the film from Campanella’s 100 Bares, Viacom International Media Networks-owned Telefe, Jempsa and Spain’s Tornasol Films.
