The AFM Finance Conference has expanded to two days, and speakers will include Harvey Weinstein of the Weinstein Company, Patrick Russo of The Salter Group, Disney’s Mary Anne Hughes, Anchor Bay’s Kevin Kasha and  Nu Image’s Trevor Short.

As part of the Conference, Screen International editor Mike Goodridge will chair a panel about the expanding role of local distributors in production and finance. Speakers will be Sierra Pictures CEO Nick Meyer, Optimum Releasing CEO Danny Perkins, WME’s Graham Taylor, and Icon Group head Stewart Till.

Other topics for AFM panels will include an update on international tax incentives, U.S. pre-sales, Hong Kong co-productions, the art of the pitch, social media, piracy and chick flicks.

Speakers will include Cinetic founder John Sloss, Anvil! director Sacha Gervasi, Summit’s Jill Jones, SAGIndie’s Darrien Michele Gipson, Sony’s Steve Bersch, DreamWorks’ Jeff Small, Nu Image’s Trevor Short and Mandalay’s Cathy Schulman.
