Los Angeles-based Meyers Media Group is in Berlin talking up a packed slate led by Pete Travis’ thriller Hangman.

Travis will direct and Arnold Rifkin produce the story of two detectives on a reality TV show who find themselves caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse with a serial killer.

Michael Caissie and Charles Huttinger wrote the screenplay to the Cheyenne Enterprises story, one of several Meyers Media titles on the runway.

The roster includes City Of Night from Monarch Pictures. Carl Franklin will direct the story of a rookie cop who gets drawn into a psychological trap by a veteran police officer.

David Chisholm wrote the screenplay and the producers are Jess B’Franklin and Brendan McDonald.

Completed horror title Mimesis from Dead Wait Productions stars Allen Maldonaldo and Sid Haig and is directed by Douglas Schulze.

Simon West’s Night Of The Living Dead Origins 3D is in post and stars Tom Sizemore, Danielle Harris and Tony Todd.

“We’ve worked hard to put together a slate that we are confident will appeal to genre fans around the world,” said Meyers Media Group president Lawrence Meyers, who is attending the EFM with Bobby Meyers.

“This is commercial, well-crafted entertainment boasting household names and high production values from world-class film-makers.”
