An English language omnibus featuring 10 short films by German and international directors has been hatched with the title Love Berlin – How We Met. The film, which will shoot this summer, plans to show the city at its most romantic.
Each episode is being designed to feature two name actors. The film will be produced by Steffen Aumüller and Claus Clausen of The Very Useful Company/Sherazade Films, whose Oscar-nominated film The Messenger won a Silver Bear at last year’s Berlinale, with Berlin-based DCM Mitte Productions, LA-based Visitor Pictures, Studio Babelsberg and Dr. Stefan Piech.
Telepool will handle international sales for all territories except Germany.
The film does not involve Emmanuel Benbihy who produced the similar city-based Paris Je T’Aime and New York, I Love You and has Shanghai, Jerusalem and Rio projects in development. But Sherazade and Visitor were both co-producers on New York, I Love You.
