The film from Zachary Quinto’s production company will kick off the event on Aug 9 at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Periods. is an improvised comedy series created by New York filmmakers Victor Quinaz, Anna Martemucci and their collaborators.

“The Periods. crew exemplifies what modern indie filmmaking is really all about – working together to create high quality content for global audiences while utilising tangible digital tools and social media to promote and release the works to the masses,” Hollyshorts co-founders and co-directors Theo Dumont and Daniel Sol said.

The 8th Annual Hollyshorts Film festival is set to run from Aug 9-16.
