Jacques Bonnavent’s The Gold Mine (La Mina De Oro) (Mexico) won the Best Of Festival Award at the culmination of the 2010 Palm Springs International ShortFest & Short Film Market.

Pierre Ferrire’s The Story Of My Life (Toute Ma Vie) (France) was presented with the Future Filmmaker Award and Jonathan Van Tulleken’s Off Season (Canada/USA) took home the Panavision Grand Jury Award

The jury presented a special mention to Andrea Dorfman’s Flawed (Canada).

In the key audience awards, Ian Barnes’ Wish 143 (UK) claimed the live action prize, Cynthia Wade’s Born Sweet(Cambodia) Cynthia took the documentary award, and Rob Silvestri won the animation prize for Ormie (Canada).

All in all 27 awards and $90,000 in cash and production prizes were handed out. The festival ran from June 22-28 and screened 314 films.
