Menemsha Entertainment's world sales division has acquiredworldwide rights to Byambasuren Davaa and Luigi Falorni's drama The Story OfThe Weeping Camel andFrancisco Lombardi's Peruvian thriller What the Eye Doesn't See (excluding Peruvian rights).

Both films will premiereat Toronto and The Story Of The Weeping Camel has already been sold to German distributor Prokinofor theatrical release in January 2004.

Weeping Camel centres on a Mongolian shepherd family's attempts to care for anabandoned camel in the Gobi Desert and will premiere at the festival on Sept 6.

"It touched our hearts very deeply and will for sure touch thehearts of the worldwide audience," Menemsha president Neil Friedman said in astatement.

Lombardi's What The Eye Doesn't See (Ojos Que Non Ven) weaves together six stories thatexplore the social effects of government corruption in 1990s Peru.

The film will premiere onSept 6 and stars Gianfranco Brero, Gustavo Bueno and Patricia Pereyra.

Lombardi'scredits include CaptainPantoja and the Special Services (1999), which Menemsha also handled, and Red Ink (2000).
