Hans Petter Moland’s Berlinale Competition title has made a raft of additional sales.

In Order Of Disappearance, Hans Petter Moland’s Berlinale Competition title starring Stellan Skarsgard, has been sold by TrustNordisk to Italy (Teodora Film), Switzerland (Xenix Filmdistribution GmbH), Hong Kong (First distributors Ltd.) , Iran (Irib Media Trade) and Taiwan (Filmware International Co. Ltd.).

It takes the current sales total over the 40 countries mark.

The film premiered on Monday in Berlin (REVIEW).

It marks Moland’s third time in Competition at Berlin International Film Festival and centres on Nils (Skarsgård) who drives a snow blower and lives a carefree life in snow covered Norway, until his son’s death suddenly puts him in the middle of a drug war between the Norwegian mafia and Serbian criminals.

Other cast members include Bruno Ganz, Pål Sverre Hagen, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Kristoffer Hivju and one of this year’s Berlin Shooting Stars Jakob Oftebro.

Producers are Finn Gjerdrum and Stein B. Kvae from Norwegian production company Paradox and supported by the Norwegian Film Institute, the Swedish Film Institute, the Danish Film Institute, Nordisk Film & TV Fond, Eurimages, Film3 and Film i Väst.

It is set to be released in Norway on Feb 21 through Nordisk Film Distribution.
