Former Babelgum UK MD Mark Cranwell to run London office of media advisory boutique.
HighView Media, the management consultancy specialising in new media and distribution planning, is opening a UK office, to be run by Mark Cranwell.
Cranwell was previously MD of Babelgum UK, the global online and mobile platform, focussing on music, film and cultural video content. Prior to Babelgum, he was the Director of Legal and Business Affairs for British Telecom’s IPTV platform, BT Vision.
“HighView Media has carefully expanded internationally over the past several years and the UK market has always been a key market for us. It makes sense to establish a permanent presence in such an important and vibrant center to accommodate existing and new clients, based both in the UK and internationally,” said Phil Schuman, co-founder and co-president of HighView Media Santa Monica.
The company, which is looking to set up bases in futher territories, currently has seven offices worldwide, including its US HQ in LA, its European HQ in Vienna, and offices in New York, Paris and Mumbai.
HighView represents production, distribution, technology and financial companies in the media and entertainment business including Universal, Viacom, Paramount, Canal +, AT&T, Sky Italia, Deutche Telecom, BT, Hrvatski Telekom, Alcatel-Lucent and BainCapital.
