Anchor Bay Entertainment has promoted Gordon Prend to executive vice-president of worldwide marketing.
For the past 18 months Prend has brought more than two decades of marketing experience to bear on launching Anchor Bays’ film division.
Under his direction the company will release Spread starring Ashton Kutcher, The Open Road with Justin Timberlake and Jeff Bridges, Peter Hyams’ Beyond A Reasonable Doubt with Michael Douglas, Jesse Metcalfe and Amber Tamblyn, as well as the newly acquired City Island starring Andy Garcia.
Prend continues to oversee all the home entertainment releases for the division including titles from Overture Films. He previously held senior marketing positions at Universal Studios, Warner Bros and Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
