David F England has been named executive vice-president and CFO of the Motion Picture Association Of America (MPAA).

England will assume his duties in December when current incumbent Lisa Pierozzi leaves to pursue other opportunities.

He will be responsible for day-to-day management of all aspects of MPAA’s finances and oversee facilities and information services. He will be based in Los Angeles and reports to president and interim CEO Bob Pisano.

I also want to thank Lisa for the substantial contribution she made to our organisation and wish her well in her future endeavors.”

England arrives from Simon and Schuster, where he spent six years as senior vice-president, CFO. Prior to that he was executive vice-president, CFO at United Paramount Network and CFO at Western International Media Corp.
