Distrify has further expanded internationally with a new deal with Swedish production company Story AB.

Distrify’s on-demand player will offer Story AB’s catalogue worldwide, including The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 [pictured], At Night I Fly and Love During Wartime

There are about 20 Story AB titles available via Distrify in HD and SD. About a dozen have been re-digitised. They are available for desktop, laptop, iPad and Android tablets.

Distrify already works in the Nordic region with its Danish Documentary project.

Peter Gerard, Distrify’s CEO and co-founder, said: “We are excited to have a production company of the calibre of Story AB joining our vision.

“Distrify wants to see production companies getting more engaged with distribution and marketing so that they can create legacies of revenues around their films.  This takes their commercial potential beyond revenues from pre-sales and commissions.”

Tobias Janson, Story AB’s CEO, said: “Although the production of quality documentaries and fictional films remain at the heart of what we do, we are proud to be a forerunner in providing and collaborating with an effortless video-on-demand service such as Distrify.

“We will continue to strive to give as many people as possible the opportunity to see our films.”

Distrify’s other partners include Films Transit International and the British Film Institute.
