London-based Celsius has taken international rights on Dutch-Belgian-Indonesian coproduction, Amphibious 3D. A promo of the film, which has just entered post-production, will be screening here at the AFM.

The horror/adventure thriller, which is produced by Dutch-based San Fu Maltha, is directed by Brian Yuzna of Re-Animator fame..

Shot on two Red Cams in 4k, the film is about a marine research expedition to the exotic Sumatran Sea which turns treacherous when a supernatural prehistoric creature looms onto the scene.

The cast is led by Michael Pare, Janna Fassaert and Francis Magee

Amphibious is expected to be the first of a slate of 3D movies to be produced by Komodo Films, a Indonesia-Singaporean company headed by Yuzna, San Fu Maltha and Ananda Siregar.

Celsius is handling worldwide sales excluding Benelux, which is being handled by producer San Fu Maltha. Maltha will also be releasing Amphibious through distribution outfit Queen Films/Jive in Malyasia, Singapore and  Indonesia.
