The original version of Gaspar Noe’s startling drama Enter The Void is the one that played in French theatres and includes 20 minutes of footage unseen in the US.

Enter The Void premiered at Cannes 2009 and initially opened in New York on September 24. It continues to screen at the IFC Center and the company said it has become one of the top grossing films in the history of the venue on more than $177,000.

Nathaniel Brown and Paz de la Huerta play siblings who arrive in Tokyo to find work in the city’s underbelly. When the man is shot, his spirit refuses to die and wanders the city in a hallucinatory maelstrom.
