IFC Films has picked up North American and Latin American rights to Peter Strickland’s The Duke Of Burgundy.

Strickland (pictured) is scheduled to kick off production late this month in Hungary on the story about an amateur moth collector.

Sidse Babett Knudsen and Chiara D’Anna star and Rook’s Andy Starke will produce. Ben Wheatley serves as executive producer with Film4’s Anna Higgs, BFI’s Lizzie Francke and Pioneer’s Ildiko Kemeny.

IFC’s Arianna Bocco negotiated the deal with Mike Goodridge of the project’s international sales agent Protagonist Pictures.
