Jason Statham stars in the thriller, set to begin shooting in London on Monday (Mar 12). The studio negotiated the deal with worldwide rights holder IM Global.

Eastern Promises and Dirty Pretty Things writer Steven Knight makes his feature directorial debut on the story of a veteran masquerading as an upper class Londoner who must face down his past when his girlfriend is found dead. Paul Webster is producing.

“Lionsgate has a terrific track record with Jason Statham films and I can’t think of anyone better to be behind this film in two such important territories,” IM Global chief Stuart Ford said.

“We are thrilled to continue our ongoing relationship with IM Global through this film,” Lionsgate’s president and co-COO Steve Beeks said. “They have assembled an incredibly talented group of filmmakers around a taut story that promises to be a great vehicle for Jason Statham, with whom Lionsgate also has a wonderful relationship, spanning films like The Bank Job, Transporter 3, and the Crank films.”
