Memento Films International has announced further sales on its Cannes titles.
Julie Bertucelli’s Australia-set family drama The Tree (Cannes 2010 Closing Film) has now sold to Germany (Pandora Films), Austria (Polyfilm), Artificial Eye (UK), Mongrel (Canada), Turkey (Calinos Entertainment), Brazil (Providence), Argentina and Cone Sur (Primer Plano), Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela (LatinAmerican Theatrical Group), Russia (P&I Films), the Baltics (Incognito Films), Norway (Arthaus), Denmark (Camera Film), Sweden (Folkets Bio), Portugal (Atalanta Filmes), Hungary (Cirko Film), Spain (Golem), Singapore (Cathay Organisation) and Korea (Line Tree Entertainment) in addition to previous sales. US and Japanese deals are being negotiated now.
Coline Serreau’s green documentary Think Global, Act Rural has sold to Benelux (Imagine), Germany/Austria (Alamode), Switzerland (Agora) and Australia/NZ (Hopscotch). Canada and Taiwan are in negotiation now.
In pre-sales Pawel Pawlikowski’s The Woman In The Fifth has now sold to Benelux (Cineart), Turkey (Mars Productions), South America (SWEN), Hungary (Cinetel) and Scandinavia (Svensk).
British vampire film Hello Darkness pre-sold forTurkey (Calinos Entertainment), Singapore and India (WEG), Malaysia (Suraya) and the Middle East (Shooting Stars).
And Memento’s The Monk, directed by Dominik Moll and starring Vincent Cassel, was sold to the UK (Metrodome), Benelux (Lumiere), Russia (Art), Hungary (Mokep), Portugal (Ecofilmes), Czech and Slovak Republic (North Video), Taiwan (Serenity Entertainment), Singapour (Cathay Organisation) and Korea (Thomas Enterprise).
