Moving Pictures Film and Television (MPF&TV) has struck a deal to acquire worldwide rights to the coming-of-age drama Tanner Hall.

MPF&TV’s senior acquisitions executive Gary Hirsch brokered the deal with Josh Braun of Submarine and Craig Emanuel from Loeb & Loeb.

Tatiana von Furstenberg and Francesca Gregorini wrote and directed the film, set in a New England all-girls boarding school and starring Amy Sedaris, Tom Everett Scott, Chris Kattan and Rooney Mara.

Julie R Snyder produced and Richard L Bready served as executive producer. MPF&TV will bring the film to Cannes and will release in the US in late summer.

MPF&TV was launched by president Margaret Tritch with Ted Chalmers serving as president of the film & television division. Chalmers oversees all aspects of this division working with Tritch on strategic planning.
