France’s Pretty Pictures picks up Thomas Vinterberg’s Cannes competition entry.
French distributor Pretty Pictures has picked up Thomas Vinterberg’s Cannes competition entry The Hunt.
The deal was negotiated by TrustNordisk sales manager Nicolai Korsgaard and president of Pretty Pictures James Velaise.
Written by Thomas Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm, The Hunt stars Mads Mikkelsen as a man fighting a lie that threatens to destroy his life.
Zentropa produces with Film I Vast and Zentropa International Sweden with support from The Danish Film Institute, Danish Broadcasting Corporation, Eurimages, Nordic Film & TV Fund, The Swedish Film Institute, Swedish Television and the MEDIA programme of the European Union.
