Distributors Eagle Rock Entertainment and Omniverse Vision have teamed up to bring a re-mastered and restored version of The Rolling Stones concert ‘Ladies & Gentleman…The Rolling Stones’ to cinemas worldwide.

The one-night only event will premiere at the Curzon Soho, London on Sept 7. The partnership will also distribute the film to over 800 cinemas worldwide.

The film features classic Stones performances from their 1972 tour and an interview with Mick Jagger recently filmed at The Dorchester Hotel in London.

The footage was captured at four shows in Texas on their 1972 North American tour promoting the “Exile on Main Street” album. There are insights into life on the road with Stones members Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts.

The music from the tour included “Brown Sugar,” “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, “Tumbling Dice” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”.

Ladies & Gentlemen… The Rolling Stones was originally filmed in 16mm by Bob Freeze and Steve Gebhardt of John Lennon’s Butterfly Films.
