Wright, controller of acquisitions for Sky Entertainment, has been promoted to controller of acquisitions, Sky.

Sarah Wright, controller of acquisitions for Sky Entertainment, has been promoted to controller of acquisitions, Sky, adding acquisitions for Sky Movies to her existing responsibilities.

Wright will take the reins from current controller of acquisitions for Sky Movies, Simon Rexworthy, who will join Sky’s strategy team from October.

Wright has been at Sky for three years, overseeing the acquisitions strategy for the re-launches of Sky Living and Sky Arts and during the launch of Sky Atlantic.

Rexworthy, Sky Movies controller for four years, will move to a broader strategy role in Sky.

Holly Comiskey and Lucy Criddle have been promoted to the roles of senior acquisitions manager for Movies and Entertainment, respectively.

Both will report to Wright.
