The guru’s son Gotham Chopra directed the account of the father-son road trip. SnagFilms has set an Oct 5 release in select theatres plus day-and-date VoD and digital roll-out.

Paladin will handle theatrical distribution on behalf of SnagFilms for Decoding Deepak, which premiered at SXSW.

“We loved Decoding Deepak from its first screening, as have festival audiences around the country,” SnagFilms CEO Rick Allen said. “A unique and personal film, it will appeal to follower and skeptic alike, and we are excited to bring it to American film audiences this fall across a broad range of platforms.”
