TMG distributed the first two films in the series.

Tele München Group has picked up distribution rights in Germany and Austria to Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3.

TMG has also acquired German-language home video, television and new media rights in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Alto Adige.

The film will be released by TMG’s subsidiaries Concorde Filmverleih (theatrical) and Concorde Home Entertainment (DVD/video) in Germany. All remaining rights including VOD and television rights, will be distributed by TMG.

TMG already distributed the prequels Iron Man in 2008 and Iron Man 2 in 2010.

A co-production between Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Company China and DMG Entertainment, the film is currently in pre-production with principal photography due to begin in May 2012.

The film is scheduled for a summer 2013 release.
