Sales to distributors in the US, Japan, Poland and Romania are among the deals signed by the Vienna-based EastWest Filmdistribution for Marven Kren’s zombie film Rammbock which had its international premiere on the Piazza Grande in Locarno in August.
EastWest’s Sascha Wieser has sold the film to Salient Media (US), Aya Pro (Japan), Spectator (Poland), Transilvania Film (Romania), Verbascum (Czech Republic and Slovakia), Exit Film (Estonia), Rija Film (Latvia), and Cine EU (Bulgaria). Negotiations are also currently underway with buyers in France, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.
Rammbock was released theatrically in Germany and Austria in September and will be opened in UK cinemas by Revolver Entertainment at the end of this month.
In addition, Rammbock will be part of EastWest’s sales lineup for the forthcoming AFM, which is set to include the intriguing Hungarian thriller Run To Ground and the Swedish psychological thriller Corridor, starring Peter Stormare.
