A Field in England’s Ben Wheatley and The Raid’s Gareth Evans set to attend.
A total of 34 directors are confirmed to attend Film4 FrightFest 2013, which runs August 22-26 in London.
The guest list of directors includes Don Mancini (Curse Of Chucky), Suri Krishnamma (Dark Tourist), Bobcat Goldthwait (Willow Creek) and Adam Green (Holliston).
Also attending is Gareth Evans, who recently completed principal photography of The Raid 2 and Jason Eisener, both for V/H/S/2.
Cheap Thrills director Evan L. Katz will be at FrightFest as well as Steven R. Monroe for the world premiere of I Spit On Your Grave 2.
Blair Erickson will launch Banshee Chapter and other directors include Anthony DiBlasi (Missionary), Jeremy Lovering (In Fear), Kit Ryan (Dementemania) and Christopher McBride for The Conspiracy.
The Ford Brothers will attend for their opening night film The Dead 2: India, as will co-directors Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado for closing night film Big Bad Wolves.
Actors at FrightFest will include Michael Cudlitz (Dark Tourist); I Spit On Your Grave 2 stars Jemma Dallander and Joe Absolom; Gemma Aitkinson and Holly Goss for The Dyatolov Pass Incident; and Charlie Bewley for Hammer Of The Gods.
Other actors in attendance will include Sam Robertson, Vincent Regan and Holly Weston for Dementamania; Frankenstein’s Army star Alexander Mercury; and Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones) and Hannah Tointon (The Inbetweeners) for the short film The Body.
The star of opening night film The Dead 2: India, Joseph Millson will be attending alongside Indian co-stars Meenu, Anand Goyal and Sandip Datta Gupta.
From Israel the cast of closing night film Big Bad Wolves - Tzahi Grad, Rotem Keinan and Dov Glickman - are confirmed.
Film4 FrightFest’s Variety Award will this year go to Ben Wheatley, director of Kill List, Sightseers and A Field In England, who will receive his award after an onstage interview about his career today.
Wheatley said: “Attending FrightFest is like being plugged into the brain of genre cinema. A true group experience. Over a thousand serious fans praying at the altar of horror then spilling out into the foyer to digest what they have just seen before diving back for more…it’s great”.
