The new hire joins as vp of acquisitions and most recently worked at IM Global where since 2010 he served in a similar capacity for Apsara Distribution.

Diene starts this week. At Apsara he acquired Scream 4, The Fighter, Rush, The Last Stand and 7500 for Reliance to distribute in India.

Prior to joining IM Global he worked at Icon Entertainment International and GreenseStreet Films International and before that served two years as a trainee at ICM.

He was a production coordinator at Partizan Midi-Minuit in Paris where he worked alongside such directors as Michel Gondry.
