Chilean director has now wrapped principal photography for El Futuro, which was filmed in three countries: Germany, Italy and Chile.
It is a co-production between Jirafa (Chile), Pandora Filmproduktion (Germany), Movimento Film (Italy), Astronauta Films and Jaleo Films (Spain).
Rutger Hauer, Nicolas Vaporidis, Manuela Martelli and Luigi Ciardo star.
The film is based on Chilean author Roberto Bolano’s novel Una Novelita Lumpen. The coming-of-age story is about two Chilean orphans in Rome.
Scherson previously directed features Play and Tourists.
