Production on the comedy Gods Behaving Badly is scheduled to begin in mid-July in New York.

Big Beach’s Marc Turtletaub set to make his feature directorial debut and produce alongside company co-founder Peter Saraf.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach will star alongside Silverstone as a young couple who encounter the Greek gods living in a New York brownstone.

Stone will play the goddess of love and beauty Aphrodite, while Oliver Platt is cast as the sun god Apollo, Edie Falco as the goddess of the hunt Artemis, John Turturro as the god of the underworld Hades, Christopher Walken as the father of the gods, Zeus.

Rounding out the cast are Phylicia Rashad, Nelsan Ellis, Gideon Glick, Henry Zebrowski and Rosie Perez.

Turtletaub and Josh Goldfaden adapted the screenplay from the novel of the same name by Marie Phillips. Caroline Jaczko will serve as executive producer.

Big Beach’s recent releases include Away We Go, Jack Goes Boating, Is Anybody There? and Sunshine Cleaning. The Weinstein Company will release Big Beach’s Sundance premiere Our Idiot Brother on Aug 26.
