Producing partners Marie-Amelie Rechberg and Bora Dagtekin at US-based Dare Filmz have announced the first feature to be produced under their first-look deal with Constantin Film.

Andy Raymer will write the high concept action comedy Honey Moon for a female lead, based on a treatment by Dagtekin.

The Dare Filmz partners will produce Honey Moon with Martin Moszkowicz, Constantin Film’s member of the board responsible for Film and television, serving as executive producer.

Raymer is a former DreamWorks executive and recently adapted William Steig’s screenplay The Zabajaba Jungle for Shrek trilogy producer John H Williams and Vanguard Films.

Dagtekin created German films and television series such as Who Is Fred, Turkish For Beginners and Doctor’s Diary.

Rechberg started her career at Focus Features and worked at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME) and Senator Entertainment before setting up her own production company.
