Nordisk Film has picked up Scandinavian rights

Emilie de Ravin, whose credits include Remember Me and Lost, has been cast in Finnish feature Love And Other Troubles.

A romantic comedy about a country line-dancing teacher, ex-child star and his eccentric father, the film is the first feature by award-winning shorts director Samuli Valkama.

Finnish talents Jussi Nikkila and Ville Virtanen (Pernilla August’s Beyond) will star opposite de Ravin. Shooting starts in July in Finland.
 
Scandinavian rights to the title have already been picked up by Nordisk Film. Love And Other Troubles is a Bronson Club production by producer Jesse Fryckman, co-produced by Andrew D. Corkin of Liquid Lunch Productions.
