Juno Temple, fresh off her starring role in Toronto premiere Dirty Girl, has joined the dark comedy Killer Joe, which Voltage Pictures is selling at AFM.

 Also new to the cast are Thomas Haden Church and Gina Gershon, who join previously announced Matthew McConaughey and Emile Hirsch.

 William Friedkin is directing from a screenplay by Tracy Letts adapted from his play about a drug dealer who puts up his sister as sexual collateral in order to get his mother killed.

 Production is set to commence on November 8 in New Orleans.
