The studio made the announcement on Tuesday morning (13) and said shooting on The Untitled ‘James Wan Presents’ Thriller was scheduled to commence in January in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Wan will serve as producer alongside Lee Clay on the story about a police psychologist who investigates the slaughter of amateur ghost hunters at an abandoned house.

Will Canon of Brotherhood fame will direct from a screenplay by Max La Bella based on an original idea by Wan.

“I loved working with Lee Clay on Beautiful Boy and look forward to working with him again and creating a great thriller with James,” said Bello [pictured in Prime Suspect.]

“I’m so thrilled to be shepherding this project,” said Wan. “The talent is really incredible, and in particular, Maria Bello was on the top of our list so we’re excited to have her.”
