MPI Media Group, which acquired North American rights to Paper Man last week, will produce Ti West’s House Of The Devil follow-up through its Dark Sky Films label.
Production is scheduled to begin in spring in Connecticut on The Innkeepers, the story of a failing hotel’s unregistered and unexpected guests.
Dark Sky Films is producing in partnership with Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix. Derek Curl, Fessenden and Peter Phok will produce.
MPI, represented by executive vice-president Greg Newman, did the deal with West in Sundance.
“Ti West is one of the most creative voices in independent film today and we are very happy to be continuing our association with this amazing young film-maker,” Newman said.
