Commercials and content company Stink has added Dominic Buchanan [pictured] as head of film.

Buchanan will report jointly to Stink’s Robert Herman and Daniel Bergmann.

Commercials and content production company Stink has a number of features in development including €3m-budgeted spy drama Johanna’s Son from writer Mieke de Jong and director Martin Krejci which has backing from the Dutch Film Fund and MEDIA and drama Meeting a Soldier from writer Claire Wilson and director Jonathan Entwistle, both of whom are former Screen International Stars of Tomorrow.

The company has worked with John Hillcoat, Martin Krejci, Ivan Zacharias, Adam Berg, Alicia Duffy, Nicolas Winding Refn and Yann Demange and has offices in Paris, Berlin, LA and Shanghai.

Buchanan, a producer of the recently announced Un Certain Regard title Gimme The Loot which won the Grand Jury prize at SXSW, has worked at The Weinstein Company, Universal Pictures International in acquisitions and international co-productions and more recently Qwerty Films as a development executive.

Buchanan is also producing Lilting to the Past which was on the Brit List 2011 and is in development with Film London.
