Tony Goldwyn joins Divergent

As previously announced, Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Kate Winslet star in the story of a divided society where an outcast embarks on a perilous quest.

Ray Stevenson, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Ben Lamb, Christian Madsen and Amy Newbold round out the key cast.

Neil Burger directs from Vanessa Taylor’s adaptation of the novel by Veronica Roth. Evan Daugherty wrote the original draft. Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing through Red Wagon with Pouya Shahbazian. Red Wagon’s Rachel Shane serves as executive producer alongside John J Kelly.

Summit will release Divergent through parent company Lionsgate on Mar 21, 2014.
