Principal photography has wrapped in New York on Monogamy, the debut narrative feature from Oscar nominated Murderball director Dana Adam Shapiro.

Chris Messina and Rashida Jones star in the project, which is styled as a cautionary tale about sex, photography, and fear of marriage.

Shapiro reunites with his producing partner Jeff Mandel and Murderball executive producer Randy Manis and Tom Heller. Shapiro co-wrote the screenplay with Evan M Wiener.

Shapiro expects the TBD Production in association with Renart Films to premiere in early 2010. Chuck Goodgal, Tom Walsh, Daryl Roth and Meital Dohan serve as executive producers.

Rounding out the cast are Meital Dohan, Zak Orth, Neal Huff, Adam Pally, Sarah Burns, Ivan Martin, and Paul Diomede.

Jones recently sold her script Celeste And Jesse Forever to Overture Films as a starring and producing vehicle.

Wiener co-wrote, with director Larry Clark, Wild Child, which is scheduled to shoot sometime this year. His play The Eichmann Disguise, inspired by the memoir Eichmann In My Hands and produced by Mandel and Heller, is slated for production in New York in 2010.
