Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment and New Regency are developing a feature based on Ubisoft’s forthcoming open world action-adventure video game.

Watch Dogs centres on a brilliant, vengeful hacker hell-bent on inflicting justice after a violent family tragedy. 

Ubisoft Motion Pictures will oversee the project with Columbia production chief Hannah Minghella and Sam Dickerman alongside Alexandra Milchan and Andrew Calof for New Regency.

Ubisoft announced the news at the Sony Computer Entertainment press conference at GamesCom.
