TV actor Steven Weber is attached to star in Vancouver-based ThinkBox Entertainment and Syndicate Seven Films’ upcoming feature Glass Children.

The segregation period drama centres on a troubled ex-professor who takes a job at a small town elementary school to prove he is stable enough to have contact with his children.

Weber, best known for starring on Wings and Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, will play the school principal and a racial segregation advocate.

Jordan Brown of Syndicate Seven Films will direct from an original screenplay by ThinkBox Entertainment’s Jason Pila. The pair also produce alongside Brown’s business partner Matthew Sauer.

Weber just wrapped the one-hour drama pilot Murder In The First for TNT.
