Roger Beck and David Turner have joined the UK-based Halo Post Production as it expands into film audio work.

Roger Beck and David Turner have joined Halo Post Production as chief operating officer and director of film post production, respectively.

The appointments follow Halo’s recent expansion into film audio work, with their first feature set to be Sony Pictures and Aardman’s 3D film Arthur Christmas. The company recently moved into new 10,000-square-foot premises in Noel Street, Soho, which was previously occupied by MPC and more recently Pepper Post Production.

In his new position as COO of Halo Post Production, Beck will be responsible for managing the integration of the new Noel Street facility into the larger Halo group.

Most recently Beck held the post of director of film services at Ascent Media Group. He was formerly head of film operations at Granada Television and CEO at Technicolor Creative Services.

Turner oversaw the sound post on features including Clash of the Titans, Greenzone and Tamara Drewe.

John Rogerson, CEO of Halo Post Production, said of the appointments: “Having them onboard makes Halo’s knowledge and skills base much broader and provides us with the opportunity to strengthen our current post offering whilst growing confidently into new markets”
