Visual effects house Cinesite is now accepting applications for its internship programme, Inspire.

Launched in 2010, Inspire aims to develop young talent in the visual effects field. Both winners from last year’s programme have gone on to work on company projects including Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Cinesite’s other current projects include Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, John Carter of Mars and X-Men: First Class.

Antony Hunt, managing director of Cinesite said: “Inspire has proved to be a great platform for us to find and nurture young talent and to put something back into the visual effects industry. Helping to develop the sector by giving new talent a chance to shine is something that is vital to our industry.”

Students due to graduate in 2011 and 2012 are eligible for the programme, as are students who have already graduated.

Cinesite is looking specifically for applicants with an interest in areas including animation, texturing, compositing and digital matte painting.

The closing date for applications in April 1. For more information, visit www.cinesite.com/internships.
