A mysterious new organisation called The Foundation is launching a film trailer competition in association with the London Film School.
Entrants will create a film trailer based on their concept of what they imagine The Foundation to be.
A spokesperson for enigmatic group said: “The Foundation loves film and the West End in general and we wanted to create a bit of fun and mystery ahead of our arrival early next year.”
The competition copy gives clues about the Foundation’s aims, with ‘fun’ and ‘freedom’ mentioned.
Trailers will be uploaded on YouTube and Vimeo and the public favourites will go to a shortlist judged by film industry experts. The winner gets £1,000, at a gala night where the Foundation will be ‘revealed’ in Covent Garden in February 2011.
