A new restored version of Jean-Luc Godard’s classic Pierrot Le Fou will screen in Los Angeles on April 23 as part of the French film showcase City Of Lights, City Of Angels (COLCOA).

The digital screening will have its international premiere at the festival and star Anna Karina is expected to make a rare public appearance. The film is being presented in association with StudioCanal and The Cinematheque Francaise whose managing director Serge Toubiana will participate in a panel screening after the screening with Karina among others.

Meanwhile, COLCOA will also honour Claude Miller with the Focus On A Film-maker strand and will screen the west coast premiere of his latest film I’m Glad That My Mother Is Alive along with a special screening of an earlier film.

COLCOA will present a special homage to the late Eric Rohmer with a screening of Pauline At The Beach co-presented with MGM with support from the Los Angeles Film & TV Office of the French Embassy and Cultures France.
