Emily Bunt will receive the Chopin Virtuoso Award at the 25th Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) next month.

Blunt, currently starring in The Young Victoria, joins previously announced honourees Carey Mulligan, Saoirse Ronan, Gabourey Sidibe and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Festival organisers unveiled the full roster of 200 films, including 18 world premieres, and announced the world premiere of George Gallo’s Middle Men would close the festival on February 14.

As previously announced, the event will open on February 4 with the world premiere of Derek Magyar’s Flying Lessons. Meanwhile The Cove film-makers will receive the David Attenborough Award.
