This years’ Full Frame Documentary Film Festival will honour Academy Award winning filmmaker Jessica Yu with the Full Frame Tribute. The festival is set to run from Apr 4-7 in Durham, North Carolina.
Yu received the best documentary short Oscar for Breathing Lessons in 1996 and her latest film with Participant Media, Last Call At The Oasis, chronicles the water crisis.
Festival organisers also announced the 2013 thematic programme, which examines “the intersections of truth and storytelling” and features a series of films curated by Fighter filmmaker Amir Bar-Lev [pictured]. The director is currently shooting the Penn State scandal documentary, Happy Valley.
