The 15th annual Brazilian Film Festival held in Miami’s Art Deco Colony Theatre has come to an end. The festival ran from Aug 19-27 and included features and shorts vying for Crystal Lens Awards in a variety of categories.

Among the winners were Roberto Santucci’s sex shop comedy Head Over Heels for the audience award’s best feature film and Robert Guimaraes’ The Cake for best short film.

Arnaldo Jabor screened The Supreme Happiness, his first film in 25 years. As one of the founders of the Cinema Novo movement he was honoured with a career tribute.

The festival is scheduled for its next stop in London where it will run from Sept 6-10. For further information about the festival, click here.
