Peter Strickland’s Katalin Varga (Romania-UK) won the 12th Annual RiverRun International Film Festival’s narrative feature award and Klaus Haro’s Letters To Father Jacob (Finland) earned the BB&T Audience Award for best narrative feature.

Katalin Varga’s Hilda Peter won the best performance prize.

Lixin Fan earned best documentary honours for Last Train Home (Canada-China-UK) and the BB&T Audience Award for documentary feature went to Leanne Pooley’s The Topps Twins: The Untouchable Girls (New Zealand).

Giorgos Lanthimos won the best director narrative prize for his work on Dogtooth (Greece), and Edgar San Juan and Rigoberto Perezcano received the best screenplay prize for Northless (Mexico-Spain).

Susan Gluth won the best director documentary prize for her work on Soap And Water (Germany).
