Film London’s Production Finance Market (PFM) will receive almost $75,000 (€55,192) from MEDIA - the EU support programme for the European audiovisual industry.

The PFM aims to connect producers with financiers to encourage new film financing relationships.

The event, now in its third year, takes place in October in association with The Times BFI London Film Festival and it is now calling for applications for this year’s market.

Over the last two markets, financiers considered over 150 projects with a total value of $1.96bn (€1.44bn) in more than 1,000 face to face meetings taking place at each market.

The event saw delegates attending from Miramax Films, Warner Bros. Focus Features, Paramount Pictures, Celluloid Dreams, Natixis Coficine, Lionsgate, Fortissimo Films, Filmax, and Rai Cinema.
