The LGBT festival will kick off its event with Joshua Sanchez’s story about a quartet on a life-changing holiday.

The line-up includes 14 narrative features, four documentaries and short films, Screenings will take place at the Walter Reade Theater in Manhattan.

“Our new partnership with OutFest and NewFest marks an exciting time for the film society as we look forward to extending our reach, and support, to the LGBT community,” The Film Society executive director Rose Kuo said. “There are a great deal of talented filmmakers and important voices to be heard. We are thrilled to be able to help bring such talent to audiences.”

Closing the event is Marialy Rivas’ file Young & Wild, which is based on the life of screenwriter Camila Gutiérrez and explores family and youth culture in contemporary Chile.

Sundance entries Love Free Or Die by Macky Alston, My Brother The Devil by Sally El Hosaini and Mosquita Y Mari by Aurora Guerrero will also screen at the event, which runs from Jul 27 to 31.
